Sawantwadi: UNESCO team District Collector Anil Patil said that he will visit Vijaydurg and Sindhudurg Fort on October 6 and 7. The UNESCO team will visit Vijaydurg and Sindhudurg forts in connection with the inclusion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's fort forts in the World Heritage Sites. District Collector Anil Patil has appealed to the S, NCC, various social groups, social organizations and school and college students to carry out a cleanliness drive in the vicinity of the two forts.

The Directorate of Archaeology and Museums has submitted a nomination proposal for the UNESCO World Heritage nomination of Maratha military architecture in the state. A UNESCO team has been constituted to preserve and conserve the world heritage sites of Fort Vijaydurg and Fort Sindhudurg. He will visit Vijaydurg on October 6 and Sindhudurg on October 7.

People have an emotional attachment with the forts built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Two forts in our district will be recognized at the world level. Therefore, it is the duty of every citizen to maintain, preserve and conserve the forts and most importantly to keep them clean.
