Thiruvananthapuram In 2020, also 21- time-old Arya Rajendran created history by getting the youthful mayor of the country as she was sworn in at the Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation. Since also, she has been in the news on quite a many occasions for the wrong reasons.
At the CPI- M Thiruvananthapuram quarter commission meeting held to take stock of the dismal performance of the party in the Lok Sabha pates, she came under fire from several diggings for her ‘ jejune geste. In April she and her hubby Sachin Dev, a party solon, came under fire from several diggings for immature, rude and arrogant geste with a motorist of the state possessed KSRTC.
This case is now before a court then after the motorist filed a police complaint. At the party’s stocktaking meeting, a many elderly leaders expressed their displeasure at the public conduct of Rajendran and after a discussion, it was decided to give a final warning to her.
The leadership felt that if she was removed for her repeated immature geste, it might affect her political future. At one point of time there was talk of contending her for the Lok Sabha, indeed when she was being seen as a likely seeker for the coming assembly choices from the capital quarter.
