The district has had heavy rain for the last few days. The dam Water increased due to heavy rain. At some places, water is being released from the dam. Meanwhile, the water level in Indrayani river has crossed the danger level and the temple of Shri Sant Bhakta Pundalika has been submerged.

The law and order situation in the area is in a shambles due to the absence of police. In order to solve the problem of traffic, two bridges have been built along with a bridge to go to Shri Kshetra Alandi area, the embankment near the new bridge at Chakan Chowk here has been completely submerged, and the footbridge built for pedestrians to go to the temple has also been submerged.

Along with this, the temple of Shri Sant Bhakta Pundalika located on the bank of the river has also been submerged in water and it is time for the devotees to visit the temple.

Even though the water level in the river has crossed the danger level, the police have not been able to maintain any kind of police bandobast at the river bank ghat under the Alandi and Dighi police stations.
