Faridabad: Normal life has been disrupted in Haryana's Faridabad due to heavy rain and strong winds. Two people have lost their lives due to heavy waterlogging under a railway bridge in Faridabad. Traffic came to a standstill due to water logging on railway tracks. But the manager of a bank threw his car into the water as he did not anticipate the water accumulating under the bridge. However, the car plunged into the water and the bank manager and the cashier drowned. This was reported by the Financial Express.

What exactly happened?
Several areas in Faridabad were waterlogged after heavy rain in the city. Normal life has also been disrupted due to the heavy rain. After leaving the office, the bank manager and the cashier were going home in a four-wheeler when a large amount of water was collected under a railway bridge in Faridabad. But as the water was not anticipated, the bank manager put his car in the water and thought that the car would go over the water. However, the car got washed away in the flood waters. As a result, the bank manager and his assistant, who were with him in the car, got trapped in the vehicle and died a short while later.

According to the Haryana Police, the incident took place on Friday due to waterlogging under the old Faridabad railway bridge during heavy rains. Punyashray Sharma and Viraj Dwivedi were on their way to their home in Greater Faridabad from Gurugram. However, the incident took place when she was on her way home. In Faridabad, heavy rain led to waterlogging under the old railway bridge. Therefore, the administration had appealed to the people not to take trains from that place or travel on that route. But how deep is the water? Unaware of this, the two threw their car into the water. As a result, they both lost their lives.

After the incident, the SUV was submerged in water. They both tried to get out of the car. However, they were prevented from getting out of the car and drowned, police said. The bodies of Viraj Dwivedi and Punyashray Sharma were taken out of the vehicle at 4 am on Saturday.
