The government has deputized 50 officers for the visit and asked the officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service( JKAS) to report to the office of the Managing Director of Power Development Corporation.

An India- Pakistan delegation comprising experts will visit Jammu and Kashmir from June 17 to 28 to check the Indus and its five feeders under the Indus Waters Treaty(IWT). The government has deputized 50 officers for the visit and asked the officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service(JKAS) to report to the office of the Managing Director of Power Development Corporation.

Under the IWT from the pall of the Indus Waters Treaty on 19 September 1960, every time India- Pakistan experts study the conditions set on the Indus and feeders. The convention was inked by also Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Pakistan President Ayub Khan. Under the convention, the waters of three western gutters- Indus, Chenab and Jhelum- were allocated to Pakistan for use.

The three eastern gutters Ravi, Beas and Sutlej were allocated to India for water use. In an order issued by Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department, 25- 25 liaison officers have been nominated for Jammu and Kashmir. They include registers of colorful departments.

These officers have been appointed. For Jammu, Sunil Sharma, Samarinder Singh, Raman Sharma, Parul Khajuria, Neha Bakshi, Pooja Larsgotra, Surbhi Raina, Waqar Talib, Pulkit Dutta, Mohammad Naseem, Anjali Gandotra, Anu Sharma, Manoj Kumar, Tamanna Seth, Sahil Mahajan, Narmita Bhan, Sheetal Chaudhary, Tanvi Gupta, Piunika Manwaha, Akshar Kotwal, Sonika Sudan, Brahman Raj, Rajinder Singh, Sanjeev Kumar Gupta and Dharam Pal have been appointed.

The designated officers for Kashmir are Naveed Hussain Badro, Mohammad Azhar Lone, Dr. These include Waseem Ahmed, Khadim Ali, Ayesha Durrani, Irfan Hasan, Ahsan Jamal, Aisha Khalid, Hasnat Mehmood, Murad Khan Mumtaz, Imran Qureshi, Nusra Latif Qureshi, Wardha Shabbir, Madiha Sikander, Shahzia Sikander, Aakif Suri, Saira Wasim and Muhammad Zeeshan.
