On Tuesday 16th, District and Sessions Judge K.P. Nandedkar has doomed a man to life imprisonment for killing person by stabbing him in the chest over a previous enmity. The result was blazoned has been penalized. The indicted have been linked as Ashwin Vikas Gawli and Rizwan Mohammad Ansari. The incident took place in June 2018 on Shivaji Road in Ghorpade Peth. The police have registered a case under Sections 302, 201, 341 and 404 of the IPC.

Ashwin Gawli was doomed to life imprisonment under Section 302 of the IPC and a forfeiture of Rs 10,000 and six months in case of remitment, one and a half times simple imprisonment and Rs 3,000 fine under Section 201 of the IPC, 15 days simple imprisonment for remitment of fine, Rs 1,000 forfeiture under Section 341 of the IPC and eight days simple imprisonment for remitment of fine. Rizwan Ansari was doomed to one- and-a-half times simple imprisonment and a forfeiture of Rs 3,000 under Section 404 of the Indian Penal Code(IPC).

Police inspector Sambhaji Shirke delved the case and filed a charge distance in the court.

The state government was represented in the court by Public Prosecutor Vivek Yadav. Elderly supervisor of Police Ravindra Gaikwad visited the spot. While Assistant PI Pramod Dhimdhime served as the court's execution officer, court director Suhas Dongre supported him in the proceedings.
