Pune : Out of the 1,505 complaints entered through the 'CVIGIL Citizen App' in the quarter since March 15, action has been taken as 1,329 complaints were set up to be true while the remaining 176 complaints that weren't set up to be true have been dropped, the quarter election administration said.

New Delhi The Election Commissions 'CVIGIL' app for registering and tracking complaints of violation of the Model Code of Conduct(MCC) has entered an inviting response from citizens. C surveillance cell is performing at the quarter position to cover the complaints filed through it.

On the CVIGIL app, citizens can upload information, prints, vids,  and train complaints of violation of the law of conduct. The app allows citizens to file complaints without revealing their identity. So far, 1,505 complaints have been entered since March 15, Of these action was taken on 1,329 complaints and the remaining 176 complaints were disposed of at the position of election adjudging officers and assistant election adjudging officers, Pune Lok Sabha.

The main ideal of the Election Commission of India is to insure that the Model Code of Conduct is rigorously stuck to and choices are held in a peaceful and free atmosphere. Through this app, citizens can directly complain online about illegal practices that violate the law of conduct. The app is anticipated to accept complaints of violation of rules and take action on these complaints in just 100 twinkles.

Purandar- 11(8), Shirur- 32(15), Shivajinagar- 71(70) and Vadgaon Sheri Assembly Constituency- 321(315). A aggregate of 1,505 similar complaints were entered and action was taken on 1,329 complaints fourth phase in the quarter.
