The Pimpri-Chinchwad Police have registered a case under MCOCA against the Yograj Murhe gang. Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey has ordered an inquiry into the incident. Since January, 'Mokka' action has been taken against 135 criminals from 22 organized crime gangs in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate.

A case has been registered at Talegaon Dabhade police station under IPC 398, 387, 504, 506 (2) Arms Act, Maharashtra Police Act, Criminal Law Amendment Act. The accused have been booked for murder, attempt to murder, trespassing, robbery, molestation, attempt to murder and criminal intimidation.

A proposal to invoke Section 3 (1) (ii) 3 (2) 3 (4) of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999, in an offence registered at Talegaon Dabhade police station After examining this application, the Additional Commissioner of Police approved the inclusion of Mokka crime.

The operation was conducted under the directions of the city police commissioner, Sandeep Patil and guidance of city police deputy commissioners, Hanumantharaya and Laxmi Ganesh, under the leadership of assistant commissioner of police, Srinivas Gowda and participation of Bajpe police inspector, Parashiva Murthy, Suratkal police inspector, Ramakrishna K G, and other personnel.
