In this letter, Gagrani has also clarified that the allocation of warrants in such a manner should be stopped.

A letter has also been transferred to the Urban Development Department in this regard, pointing out the violation of the bottom area by the Slum Rehabilitation Authority. Slum redevelopment schemes are enforced under the provision of 33(10) of the Development Control Rules. This provision can be invoked in areas declared as slums under Section 3C of the Slum Act. In addition, there's Rule 33(11) which provides for bottom area in lieu of construction of endless alternate houses for slum residers.

The Slum Rehabilitation Authority is responsible for enforcing these rules. piecemeal from this, there's a External Planning Authority for other rules. still, the Slum Rehabilitation Authority is also taking advantage of the vittles of 33(12)(b) and 33(19) of the Development Control Rules to give the benefit of the point area.

This is a blatant abuse of the powers of the sleep authority," Gagrani said in the letter. Only the external pot has the right to use this rule. still, in numerous cases, the sleep authority has substantially linked the scheme approved under 33(11) to the vittles of 33(12)(b) or 32(19).

As a result, there has been a huge increase in the area under civilization. This is a direct violation of the bottom area. In this regard, the concerned authorities should be instructed to refrain from approving the plan in this manner. else, it'll face legal problems in the future," Gagrani said in a letter to the CEO.
