An entrepreneur attempted to kill two people by shooting them in a financial transaction. In this case, the rural police have seized a large stockpile of firearms and 175 cartridges of guns, 40 cartridges of pistols, two barrels, 3 empty magazines from businessman Bapu Shitole.

Bapu alias Dashrath Vithal Shitole (46 years), Neelima Bapu alias Dashrath Shitole (42 years), Jignesh Dashrath Shitole (19 years), Asha Suresh Bhosle (52 years), Nikhil Ashok Bhosale (25 years). In this incident, Kaluram Mahadev Gote (Ra. Bhivri, Ta. Haveli) is being treated at Nobel Hospital and 3 bullets were fired at him. A bullet was fired at Sharad Kailash Gote.

Kaluram Gote and Sharad Gote, farmers of Uruli Kanchan area, had made a transaction of Rs 40 lakh with Bapu Shitole one and a half years ago and now they demanded money from the accused. He then called her to his house to give her money. In a fit of rage, the accused fired four bullets from his pistol at Kaluram and Sharad.

Kumar sustained serious injuries on his hands and legs. After getting information about the incident, Superintendent of Police Upendra Kumar Sharma reached the spot. Bapu Shitole, the main accused in the firing incident, was arrested after police received information that he was hiding in a field. On interrogation he confessed to the crime. The police have arrested his family members.

The operation was conducted by inspector, Anantapadmanabha and sub-inspector, Sheetal Alagur, along with assistant sub-inspectors, Chandrashekhar and Keshava, under the leadership of assistant commissioner of police (Panambur), Srinivas Gowda, directions of the city police commissioner, Sandeep Patil, and guidance of deputy commissioners of police, Hanumantharaya and Laxmi Ganesh.
