However, a senior citizen ordering a waist belt online from the app of a well-known company has become very expensive.
A senior citizen living in Kondhwa area was cheated of Rs 1,11,000. (Online Cheating Fraud Case). In this case, a 64-year-old man living in Bhagyoday Nagar Kondhwa area on Wednesday. A case has been registered at Kondhwa police station. This took place between February 17 and March 6, 2024. The complainant had ordered a waist belt on the app of a company named Misho.
However, the complainant cancelled the order as the belt was not available on the app. As the plaintiffs did not get the refund of the order, they searched for the customer care number from Google. The cybercriminals said they were talking through customer care.
Cybercriminals send a link to solve your problem, click on it and download the app. After downloading the app, the accused hacked his mobile phone. Check that the money has been sent to your account. Using his personal information, Rs 1 lakh 11 thousand was transferred from the bank account of the complainant. Further investigation is done by the police.
