Ramdara Wadki Pune Crime News : On the occasion of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's birth anniversary, a bullock cart race was organized in the Ramdara area of Vadaki, Pune. Two people were killed when a stage set up to watch the bullock cart race collapsed. The Loni Kalbhor police have registered a case against the organisers of the bullock cart. The incident took place on June 4, 2023, at around 2: 30 pm.

In this case, Assistant Police Inspector Kishor Hanmant Pawar (41-year-old) has been arrested. 19 July 2024) has been transferred to Loni Kalbhor police station. The bullock cart race was organized on 4th June 2023 at Ramdara area of Loni Kalbhor area. The stage was set for the race. On the evening of June 4, heavy rain began in the Loni Kalbhor area. Due to the strong wind, Balasaheb Koli and Ankush Chor along with some others stopped near the Adoshala stage. Due to the wind of the society, the stage collapsed on the spiders and thieves who stopped in the vicinity.

The injured were rushed to a private hospital in Hadapsar. However, the victim died before she could be treated. Sandeep Modak, the organiser of the bullock cart race, has been booked after investigations revealed that the iron rack and stage fell on Koli and Chor for ignoring safety measures while organising the race. Further investigation is being conducted by the police.
