Pune: A shocking incident, a school boy allegedly committed self-murder(Suicide) by hanging himself after being scolded by his father for using a bike. Shreeraj Santosh Sonawane(16yrs). The boy's name is Sreeraj, Dattawadi, Urali Kanchan, Pune-Solapur road. Sreeraj had lately appeared for the ninth standard examination and was presently studying in the 10th standard. Satish Sahebrao Sonawane(51yrs) has filed a complaint at Uruli Kanchan police station in this regard. The Case has been registered as a accidental death in police station. The incident passed on Tuesday It was around 16 in the night.
According to the police, Sreeraj was angry with his father for using a two- wheeler. Sreeraj committed self-murder by hanging himself with a rope at his father's house. When Sreeraj's mother saw this, she called Satish and informed him. He was immediately taken hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead.
In his family has parents and an older brother. His father works in a private bank.
