Drinking water sources can be polluted. Contaminated water increases the risk of water-borne diseases. The Municipal Health Department (PMC) has appealed to the citizens to take care of this. In this regard, the health department has appealed that drinking contaminated water can cause problems like diarrhea, cold, fever. If you notice such symptoms, immediately consult a doctor or nurse. Also, contact your local hospital. In diarrhoea and dysentery for water purification use ORS and water purifier (sugar, salt, water). The health department has appealed to people to drink chlorinated water if they have diarrhoea, dysentery and jaundice. Health department appeals to people Clean the water tanks on the ground floor and above the building. If there is a tap leak, valve leak, then repair, keep the area around the tank clean. Do not store water for more than 5 days. Have a dry day of the week. Empty the drinking water containers once a week, wash, wipe and dry them. Don't allow water to stagnate. If the disease is severe, consult a doctor. Use clean water for drinking. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Don't use tap water. Do not eat spicy and oily food. Wash your hands with soap and water before eating.
