Police have arrested a wanted criminal, Amol Jyotiba Ghadge, in Pimpri Chinchwad as part of an ongoing search operation.

The Anti-Extortion Squad has made a significant breakthrough in their search operation, catching wanted criminal Amol Jyotiba Ghadge, 34, from Solapur district. Ghadge was taken into custody on the basis of Poolice FIR No. 907/2023, with charges under Arms Act Section 3(35) being filed against him. The arrest was made possible by Assistant Police Faujdar Mr. Ramesh Gaikwad and Police Constable Mr. Ganesh Girigosavi, who set up a trap to apprehend Ghadge. During the arrest, they recovered 1 Desi Gun and 2 live bullets.
