A woman known as the Beautiful Governor of Southwest China has been sentenced to 13 years in prison. He has also been fined with Rs 40 lakhs. The woman had sex with 58 men in her office. She had also accepted a bribe of Rs 71 crore. Zhong Yang, 52, served as the governor of Guizhou province, the South China Morning Post reported. He was a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Who is Zhong Yang?
Yang entered politics at the age of 22, joining the Communist Party of China (CPC). Zhong founded the Fruit and Agriculture Association to help farmers, the South China Morning Post reported. He also took personal initiative to help the elderly. This work made Zhong famous.

In January 2024, Guizhou Radio and TV News Channel screened a documentary on him. Zhong Yang then became embroiled in controversy. Zhong was accused of securing contracts for favored companies in the name of investing in government departments and accepting bribes in return.

What were the allegations?
Zhong Yang misused his power and money to establish relationships with male colleagues. They maintained relationships with lovers in the name of overtime and business trips. Speaking to China's NetEase News, Zhong Yang said that many men prefer to be her boyfriend in order to benefit from Zhong Yang. However, some men, fearing her threat, reluctantly had sex with her. It is now known that Zhong Yang had 58 lovers. Zhong Yang had sexual relations with many of these lovers.

Zhong Yang has now been sentenced to 13 years after being found guilty. A fine of Rs 1 lakh 40 thousand was also imposed on him.
