Israeli forces killed 38 Palestinians in airstrikes and ground attacks in Gaza on Thursday. They engaged in close combat with Hamas-led militants in Rafah, southern Gaza.
Tanks moved towards Yibna in Rafah and operated in three eastern suburbs. Residents mentioned that Israeli forces are attempting to advance further west but have not breached Yibna yet.
