A 30-year-old IT professional from Shadnagar town in Telangana, who had gone missing in New South Wales, Australia, was discovered deceased. Aravind's body was recovered from the sea in Sydney, and his family members were notified of his passing by Australian authorities on Friday. The circumstances surrounding his death remained unclear, with ongoing investigations reported to the family.
Aravind, who had been working as an IT professional in Australia since 2017 and had been married for approximately two years, was planning to return to India with his spouse. His mother, who had been in Australia with him, had recently returned to India. Aravind disappeared after informing his wife that he was taking their car to the garage on May 19.
Subsequently, a missing person report was filed with the New South Wales police on May 20. Aravind's body was later discovered near a beach in Sydney, with a DNA test confirming his identity. Aravind, the only son of a local BJP leader, the late Arati Krishna Yadav, has left his mother in a state of shock and sorrow.
Requests have been made to the Indian government to facilitate the repatriation of Aravind's remains to Hyderabad from New South Wales as soon as possible. Union Minister G Kishan Reddy has reached out to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to seek assistance in expediting the return of Aravind's body to India.
