Bengaluru The Karnataka Congress offered a ‘ Raj Bhavan Chalo’ kick march on Saturday, condemning the Governor’s concurrence to make Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority( MUDA) case and questioning him over the detention in action against others. The MLAs, MPs, and Ministers asked Governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot about the detention in granting execution warrants in pending cases against the Union Minister for Heavy diligence and Steel

The kick march was led by Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. Congress representatives and prominent leaders gathered on the demesne of the Vidhana Soudha and offered a kick in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue, holding posters criticising the Governor. The posters read, “ BJP Stooge Governor, ” and “ prejudiced Governor. ”

Speaking to the media after meeting the Governor, Shivakumar stated that the people had tagged the Congress government with a significant accreditation.

“ They've given us 136 MLA seats, and we've a important government in place in Karnataka. sweats are being made to destabilise this government. They suppose that if they manage to disturb the government then, they can weaken the opposition, ” he said.

“ In a civil system, Karnataka is a major contributor to the nation, helping out other countries. Attempts are being made to produce disturbances then. The Governor’s office should n't be used for this purpose. We prompt the Governor to consider the other desires seeking execution with fairness and deliver justice above party politics, ” Shivakumar added.

“ He has to carry out his duties. We trust that the Governor will take up the pending desires, ” he stated. Minister for Food, KH Muniyappa emphasised that in a popular system, the Governor should treat all matters inversely.

Minister for Large and Medium diligence, MB Patil charged that the Governor’s office has come the BJP’s office.

He also noted that though primary enquiries against former BJP ministers Shashikala Jolle, Murugesh Nirani, Janardhana Reddy, and especially against HD Kumaraswamy have been completed, the desires have been pending for the last nine to 15 months. “ There's no primary enquiry against CM Siddaramaiah. MUDA has erred, and we will win the legal battle, ” he stated.

Sources explained that Governor Gehlot informed the Congress delegation that he had n't given concurrence for the execution of CM Siddaramaiah on his own but had only acted on complaints filed against the CM. The delegation prompted him to take action on other desires pending before him.
