New Delhi : The Supreme Court on Friday told the Enforcement Directorate(ED) that it'll consider granting interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal in view of the Lok Sabha elections. So there's a ray of hope for Kejriwal. Kejriwal has been detained in Tihar Jail for the once 43 days. The ED had arrested him under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act(PMLA) in connection with the alleged liquor policy scam of the Delhi government.

His bail application will now be heard on Tuesday(May 7). Kejriwal's petition challenging the arrest was being heard in the Supreme Court on Friday before a bench of Justice Sanjeev Khanna and Justice Dipankar Dutta, but it remained deficient.
