The Meteorological Department has forecast ongoing rain in Kerala today due to the cyclonic circulation over Marathwada. Expect moderate to heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds for the next four days across Kerala, leading to a yellow alert in 8 districts : Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod.

Rainfall Forecast :- 10-06-2024: Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod - 11-06-2024: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod - 12-06-2024: Yellow alert in Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod with a chance of isolated heavy rain.

High Wave Warning : The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Research Center warns of a black sea phenomenon and high waves along the Kerala-Tamil Nadu coasts till 11:30 pm today (10-06-2024). Fishermen and coastal residents should take extra precautions.
