In Baner, Pune, the body of a laborer who had been missing for two days was discovered. The laborer was fatally injured by a stone thrown at his head in the Dhankude settlement of Baner. A murder case has been filed at the Chaturshringi Police Station, with the motive remaining unknown. The victim has been identified as Nana Vitthal Chadar, aged 36, from Wakad Gavthan, Wakad.

His brother, Sachin Vitthal Chadar, aged 34, lodged a complaint at the Chaturshringi Police Station on Sunday. A case under IPC 302 has been registered against the unidentified perpetrator. Nana Chadar, a laborer with a drinking problem, disappeared two days prior. The police were alerted to a body at the Dhangude settlement in Baner on Sunday morning.

Upon arrival, the police confirmed the deceased's identity and determined that Nana Chadar had been fatally attacked with stones to the head. An investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrator responsible for the murder. Senior Police Inspector Ajay Kulkarni is overseeing the case.
