A large fire erupted in a gaming zone in Rajkot city, Gujarat, on Saturday evening, resulting in the reported death of approximately 27 individuals. Concerns arise for numerous individuals, including children and adults, who may be trapped in the blaze at TRP Game Zone. Four fire trucks arrived at the scene, and firefighters successfully extinguished the fire late into the night. Rajkot Collector Prabhav Joshi shared details of the incident with the PTI news agency, stating that a call reporting the control room's fire was received at 4:30 in the afternoon.

Following the alert, fire brigades and ambulances promptly arrived at the location to initiate firefighting efforts. A search and rescue operation has been initiated within the debris at the fire site. Rajkot Police Commissioner Raju Bhargava disclosed that the gaming zone belongs to an individual named Yuvraj Singh Solanki. Legal action has been taken against the gaming zone owner for negligence leading to fatalities, with further investigations scheduled post-rescue operations.

Speaking on the matter, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel emphasized the immediate mobilization of municipal corporation and administrative resources upon receiving the fire report. Rescue missions are underway to evacuate those trapped in the gaming zone, with instructions issued for the prompt treatment of the injured.
