Mid-Day Meal Scheme: Mid-day meal scheme is being run in government schools. Under this scheme, the headmaster of the school forcibly fed non-vegetarian food to a child. There was panic in the school after the incident. The matter reached the police. Following this, the teacher was suspended.

Where did the incident take place?
The incident took place in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. Mohammad Iqbal, the headmaster of the school, ordered non-vegetarian food for the children and fed it to a boy. The boy is disabled. This boy said in his complaint that Sir told me that today the vegetable is not good. So ask for non-veg. It has been alleged that despite telling Sir that I will not eat non-veg, he ordered mid-day meal and force-fed it to my brother.

The principal has denied the allegations.
After the incident, my brother was sleeping in the room with his mouth covered. Everyone asked me what had happened. That's when I told Mid-Day Meal. After that, my mother came to the school and asked the principal. When the matter reached the police, the principal of the school, Mohammad Iqbal, was called to the police station.

Suspension of Principal Mohd.
Iqbal has denied all the allegations. I didn't order any mid-day meals. Mohammad Iqbal, the headmaster of the school, said that the students who had come with non-vegetarian items were the ones who were lashing out at him. On the other hand, he is accused of deliberately feeding the child non-vegetarian food. He was suspended on this charge. The Times of India reported this.

What do education officials say?
Officials of the education department also attended the meeting. We are investigating who asked for non-vegetarian food in the school and why. The purpose of ordering this non-vegetarian can be to feed other children. But it is wrong to order non-vegetarian food in such a way in school and feed it to those who do not eat. We have suspended the headmaster of the school, Mohammad Iqbal. "We are investigating the matter and further action will be taken," the officer said.
