MP Weather : Madhya Pradesh has been experiencing cloud cover for the past week, resulting in rain and extreme heat in various areas. Rainfall has persisted for the last three days, with reports of hailstorms in some regions. The Meteorological Department has reported an active system of hailstorms, rain, and storms in the state, issuing rain alerts in districts with ongoing voting.

In the 16 districts of Madhya Pradesh where the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections is underway, there are alerts for storms, rain, and clouds. Heavy rainfall is anticipated, particularly in the Malwa-Nimar districts, with an orange alert in Barwani, Khargone, Khandwa, and Burhanpur. Rainfall is ongoing in most areas across Indore, Dewas, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dhar, Khargone, and Khandwa Lok Sabha constituencies.

The polling station in Jhirnya, Khargone Lok Sabha constituency, experienced a tent being blown away, causing chaos among voters. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for rain and the possibility of hailstorms in several districts, including Barwani, Khargone, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Betul, Pandhurna, Chhindwara, and Seoni. Light rain, storms, and thunder are expected in Alirajpur, Dhar, Jhabua, Ratlam, Indore, Ujjain, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Agar-Malwa, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Sehore, Bhopal, Harda, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Vidisha, Sagar, Damoh, Jabalpur, Mandla, Dindori, Anuppur, and Balaghat.
