The Bangur Nagar police in Mumbai have filed a case against 10 individuals for deceiving an advertising director of a sum of money. The accused individual reportedly resides in Goa. Siddharth Jenna, the complainant, hails from Goregaon and has been employed as an advertising director for 14 years.

The Bangur Nagar police took legal action against Vikramdev Malhotra, Ritu Malhotra, Maria Fernandes, Ralston Pinto, Lina Mandrekar, Pramod Mandrekar, Leo Dias, Rashmi Chodankar, Judy Gomes, and Sainath Patekar for fraudulent activities and criminal deceit. The complaint alleges that Vikramdev Malhotra and his wife Ritu Malhotra, who run a company in Goa engaged in land sales, assured Jenna of substantial returns on a land investment.

Jenna transferred one crore 49 lakhs via check and three and a half lakhs in cash to Malhotra and his associates. Despite the transaction occurring in 2020, the land remains unregistered in the complainant's name, and the promised amount has not been refunded. Jenna has now sought police intervention in the matter, leading to an ongoing investigation by the Bangur Nagar Police.
