Amit Awadhesh Yadav (22 years) The accused has been identified as Raghubir Singh, a resident of Darbhanga district in Bihar. The investigation team of Mundhwa Police Station, while patrolling, found a suspicious person with a motorcycle under the Mundhwa Bridge near Hadapsar Railway Station. When he was asked about the documents of the motorcycle, he started giving evasive answers. Police arrested him and brought him to the police station. His motorcycle was found to be stolen. On further interrogation, he confessed to committing 3 crimes of vehicle theft. Three cases of vehicle theft have been registered at the Yavat police station and the Hadapsar police station.
The operation was conducted under the directions of the city police commissioner, Sandeep Patil and guidance of city police deputy commissioners, Hanumantharaya and Laxmi Ganesh, under the leadership of assistant commissioner of police, Srinivas Gowda and participation of Bajpe police inspector, Parashiva Murthy, Suratkal police inspector, Ramakrishna K G, and other personnel. The police team which investigated the case comprised of Inspector Yashpal Singh, SI Devendra Kumar, SI Ramesh Chand, SI Rajdeep, SI Reema and constable Pooja.
