Actress Laila Khan and her four siblings were found guilty in the 2011 murder case, with their father, Parvez Tak Yala, also being found guilty by the sessions court. The court announced that a decision regarding his sentence would be made on Tuesday, after finding him guilty of conspiracy, murder, and destruction of evidence.
The murder case involving Laila, her mother, and her siblings at their bungalow in Igatpuri would have been concealed if Parvez had not been arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, as per the allegations. The police claimed that Parvez conspired to murder his daughter, wife, and brothers-in-law for property reasons. The bodies of the victims were discovered in a emaciated state after a few months, following the arrest of Parvez. During the trial, the police presented testimony from 40 witnesses against Parvez.
