Narendra Modi is ready to be sworn in as Prime Minister for the third time. The President of the country, Draupadi Murmu, has officially invited him to take the oath at the swearing-in ceremony on Sunday, June 9. In the recent Lok Sabha elections of 2024, the NDA secured a decisive majority, with the India Aghadi falling slightly behind. Consequently, the India Alliance also laid claim to assuming power. Subsequently, NDA leaders met with President Draupadi Murmu to assert their intention to form the government.

Following this, the President extended an invitation to Narendra Modi and formally appointed him as Prime Minister, scheduling the swearing-in ceremony for June 9. Earlier today, a meeting was convened with the constituent parties of the NDA, during which Narendra Modi was designated as the parliamentary leader.

The NDA delegation then met with President Draupadi Murmu to present a letter confirming Narendra Modi's election as the BJP parliamentary party leader. Additionally, letters of support from the NDA's constituent parties were submitted to the President. Upon receiving the documentation from the NDA, President Draupadi Murmu contacted Narendra Modi to officially appoint him as the Prime Minister.

Instructions were issued to establish the Union Cabinet, and a request was made for details regarding the upcoming swearing-in ceremony. After being designated as Prime Minister for the third time, Narendra Modi engaged with the media. He expressed gratitude for the continued support from the NDA members and their communication with the President.

He confirmed his appointment as Prime Minister and receipt of notification concerning the swearing-in ceremony and ministerial appointments. The 18th Lok Sabha is anticipated to be significant in light of the Golden Jubilee celebrations. Narendra Modi highlighted the importance of this term, coinciding with the country's 25-year milestone post-independence.

As India approaches its golden jubilee in 2047, the government aims to realize the nation's aspirations. Modi reiterated his commitment to serving the citizens and acknowledged the progress made in various sectors, lifting 25 crore people out of poverty.
