Omkar Shyamrao Joshi, who cheated a businessman of Rs 4.5 crore by posing as a director of the Central Government's Heavy Industries Department, has come up with another feat. According to the police, Omkar Joshi claimed to be the director of the central government's heavy industries department. A businessman was cheated of Rs 4 crore 41 lakh by promising him a return of up to 20 per cent per month if he invested in the tender. A case has been registered at Bhondsi Police Station in this regard.

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Pimpri Chinchwad police arrested Omkar Joshi in connection with the case.
Several cards were found in his possession.
A visiting card using the Ashoka Pillar was found in it.
Onkar Joshi pretended to be a representative of Maharashtra state in the National Commission for Backward Classes.
He informed the people living in the area. A fake identity card was created. The state emblem of Ashoka Pillar was used without the permission of the government. A case has been registered against him for cheating people by using fake identity cards. The police watchdog is investigating.
