R.G. Kar Hospital was also in the limelight due to the Pulomi six case. Pulomi was one of six trainee doctors. She ended her life by jumping from the roof of the hospital in 2020. After the attack, she was rushed to the intensive care unit of the hospital. But her life could not be saved. According to her friends, she was under a lot of stress for a few days before committing suicide. The suicide of Pulomi Sahu had raised many questions about the hospital which are yet to be resolved.
