In Amravati, Andhra Pradesh, Deputy Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu appointed Janasena Party chief Pawan Kalyan on Friday. Pawan Kalyan, who transitioned into politics from acting, has assumed significant responsibilities. He will oversee Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Environment, Forest, and Science and Technology.
Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that the new ministers are committed to serving the people of Andhra Pradesh and promoting a government for the people.
Nara Lokesh, Chandrababu's son, has been assigned the portfolios of Human Resource Development, Information Technology, and Telecommunication. In addition to Naidu, 24 ministers were sworn in on Wednesday, with Anita Vangalpudi appointed as the Home Minister.
