Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate will hold a complaint redressal day in every police station every Saturday. This initiative aims to enhance direct communication with citizens, streamline complaint resolution, and ensure timely disposal of complaints. Starting this Saturday, May 18, Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey has instructed all officers to participate.

The Commissionerate, which encompasses 18 police stations, covers a larger area compared to Pune. The jurisdiction includes Talegaon Dabhade industrial area, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Chakan, and Khed-Alandi. While citizen applications often prompt necessary actions, slight delays may occur. On Grievance Redressal Day, citizens will receive updates on complaint resolutions and have the opportunity to lodge new complaints.

Various channels are available for submitting complaints promptly, such as the website, WhatsApp, email, in-person visits to police offices, and applications from government and senior officials. To prevent citizen inconvenience caused by delayed complaint resolutions, the complaint redressal day will run from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM every Saturday at all police stations.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Assistant Commissioner of Police, and Thane In-charge Officer will be present to assist with complaint resolutions. The Pimpri-Chinchwad police encourage complainants to visit the respective police stations on the designated day.
