Police Arrest 9 Culprits, In Pimpri-Chinchwad Including Gang Leader, Under MCOCA Act

Pimpri- Chinchwad :The Pimpri-Chinchwad police have started cracking down on culprits to insure a free and fair 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey has taken action against 44 indicted in the gang of 9 extortion robbery culprits in the city under the MCOCA Act.

The Police Commissioner has taken action against the Rahul Pawar gang within the Area of Mahalunge MIDC Police Station, Indicted and gang leader Rahul Sanjay Pawar( Mahlunge,Tq-Khed) in the case of IPC 302, 364, 201, 120(b) 212, 34 registered at MIDC police station Mahlunge. Amar Namdev Shinde(28 yrs) , P.O. Kasar Amboli, Ta Mulshi), Nitin Popat Tambe(34 yrs), Dehugaon Road, Moshi, Abhijeet alias Abhi Chintamani Marathe(Ra. Jaibhavani Nagar, Kothrud) Asif alias Ashu Hyder Hafshi( Kasarwadi, Pune) has been arrested under the MCOCA Act.

There are 7 accused in the case. The gang leader and his cohorts have committed serious crimes similar as murder, attempt to murder, highway robbery, hijacking for rescue, highway robbery, illegal possession of arms in the governance of Mahlunge MIDC, Chakan, MIDC Bhosari, Sangvi Paud police station. In every crime, the gang leader Rahul Pawar has committed crimes for self and gang dominance and for fiscal gain as well as to produce terror.

A offer to bring Section 3(1)(ii), 3(2), 3(4) of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999 was submitted to Commissioner of Police Vasant Pardeshi. After examining this operation, the fresh Commissioner of Police approved the addition of Mokka crime, (Pimpri Chinchwad Police MCOCA Action) . The operation was conducted under the directions of the city police Commissioner, Sandeep Patil and guidance of city police deputy officers, Hanuman tharaya and Laxmi Ganesh, under the leadership of assistant commissioner of police, Srinivas Gowda and participation of Bajpe police inspector, Parashiva Murthy, Surat kal police inspector, Ramakrishna K G, and other labor force. Under the guidance of PI Pawar, PSI Kashinath Mahadule, contable Rohidas Khairnar, Sanjay Nand, Sandeep Tayade, Shaikh Gaffar, Abdul Rehman, Deshraj More, Santosh Sankpal and Abhijeet Gaikwad executed the police action.

According to the police, Siju was an electrician. He returned home in the evening. No one was at home at the time. He committed self-murder by hanging himself. The door of rest room was closed. The family called him. There was no response from outside. Family members informed the police of the incident. Police broke down the door and entered the house. It was also that Siju committed self-murder by hanging himself. Siju was under stress for the once many days as his in-laws were draining him. He committed self-murder due to depression. Before committing self-murder, the indicted hanged himself from the ceiling of his house and has written a note that he is committing self-murder due to prostration by Pen on wall. The indicted allegedly instigated the victim to commit self-murder. Police have charged six people in the case, further disquisition is being conducted by Assistant Police Inspector Mane.
