In Pune city, arguments frequently arise due to traffic jams caused by unruly traffic. Recently, a rickshaw puller in Pune was involved in an incident where he bit a biker's hand during a traffic jam, resulting in a broken thumb. The Khadak Police Station has filed a case against the rickshaw puller in response to a complaint lodged by Dnyaneshwar Khandu Bendre, a 66-year-old resident of Pragatinagar, Bhau Patil Road, Bopodi, Pune.

The case, registered under IPC sections 325, 323, and 504, involves Ganesh Somnath Bhusawalkar, a 60-year-old resident of Heram Society, Kashinathnagar, Balajinagar, Dhankawadi, Pune. The incident occurred on a Friday afternoon in front of Rajhans Metals in Sunday Peth, around 3:00 pm. Bendre, a retired police officer, was riding a bike with his wife on their way to purchase household goods when the altercation took place.

The rickshaw puller, upon encountering Bendre's parked bike, made disrespectful remarks and physically assaulted Bendre, resulting in a torn shirt and a broken thumb on Bendre's right hand. The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
