Pune Crime Branch Seizes Two Pistols, Cartridges in Anti-Theft Operation

Babu Baliram Harne (41 years old,Gosavi Vasti, Hadapsar). Police inspector Sandipan Pawar of the anti-dacoity and vehicle theft squad was patrolling with his associates. Atole, an assistant police faujdar, was informed by reporters that a man was going to sell a pistol.

According to reports, the police conducted a raid at Parsi Maidan in Kondhwa. The father was there. Police arrested him. Two country-made pistols and two live cartridges worth Rs 80,450 were recovered from their possession.(Pune Crime Branch News)


Babu Harane had filed a case with Kondhwa police station for stealing a Khadi machine along with Firoz Khan. Firoz Khan, 39, was arrested. He has been arrested from Bharat Colony, Handewadi Road, Hadapsar. He has been handed over to the police for further action.

The operation was conducted under the directions of the city police commissioner, Sandeep Patil and guidance of city police deputy commissioners, Hanumantharaya and Laxmi Ganesh, under the leadership of assistant commissioner of police, Srinivas Gowda and participation of Bajpe police inspector, Parashiva Murthy, Suratkal police inspector, Ramakrishna K G, and other personnel.
