Pune : Scammer gang on the pretext of online loans arrested.
Pune : Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station has busted a fraud racket on the pretext of getting online loan(bait Of Online Loan). Bharti University Police, Shivam Apartment, Mangdewadi, 6th Floor, Flat No. In 601 raids took place. Police have arrested eight people from this place. During this operation, the police have sequestered a total of five lakh worth of items like laptops, mobiles, SIM cards, ATM cards, check books.
This action was taken on Wednesday(Day 1) around 4:30 PM. Police Sub-Inspector Sanjay Jagannath Narle has filed a complaint in Bharti Vidyapith Police Station. Consequently Shrinu Suresh Mudavad(age- 25 resident of AmbegaonB), Laudia alias Rohit Govind Chavan(age- 22 resident of Shramik Colony, Karvenagar), Rahul Hiriya Munawat(age- 22 resident of Ramnagar, Warje), Santosh Motilal Katrawat(age- 45 Res. Kothrud), Ramesh Narayan Dhedawat(age- 22 Res. Mangdevadi), Prakash Narsingh Mudawat( age- 22 Res. Mangdevadi), Anil Ramji Patlawat(age- 21 Res. Mangdevadi), Venkatesh Gopal Chavan(age- 22 Res. Mangdevadi)-23 Ashtavinayak Nagar, Dhankawadi) has been arrested under IPC 419, 420, 120(b), 34.
According to the information given by the police, the indicted intrigued with each other and used the mobile numbers of the citizens for their own fiscal benefit Numbers and other information attained immorally. After that, citizens were called on their mobile phones and informed about the online loan of the company India bulls.
On the pretext of giving loans, the indicted asked for documents from citizens on WhatsApp. Indicted told the citizens that the loan was approved and took money from them in different bank accounts citing different reasons. Fiscal fraud was done without giving loan to citizens after taking money. After entering a complaint in this matter, Bharti University police raided the flat of Shivam Apartment in Mangdewadi Eight people were arrested.
In this operation, a total worth of Rs4 lakh 95 thousand including laptop, mobile, SIM card, ATM card, check book was seized. farther investigation is being conducted by Police Inspector Crime Sharad Jhine.
