Within the following two years, 100 primary schools in the state will undergo improvements to become Schools of Happiness. This will also encompass five schools in Ludhiana district. Only schools with a large number of children and available space will be eligible for this program. Children will receive an improved environment, enhanced education, and will have access to excellent infrastructure.

Preparations for this have been finished by the government. The statement was made by Harjot Bains, the Education Minister of Punjab. In addition, the government is also working to address the lack of teachers in colleges. In the near future, 646 professors will be hired. In addition, there are plans to hire 7,000 primary teachers, 6,000 ETT teachers, and 6,000 master cadre.

Bains came to Ludhiana on Wednesday to take part in the summer coaching program at Meritorious School. Bains stated that in addition to improving the quality of education, the government is focusing on enhancing school facilities to make them more appealing to students, offering better infrastructure than private schools.

Besides that, 117 Schools of Eminence are set to be launched by 15th August, with 14 Schools of Eminence already operational. The outcomes of the government's actions are proving to be successful as well. Teachers are receiving coaching at an international level as well. Following the principals, a group of school heads and staff will now be dispatched to Finland.
