I'm a scientist, so I'm often asked what the best equation is, and I don't give any definitive answers, because I think education and the future that comes from it are the biggest and most important equations in the world. Are you going to get a job today because of income? There arises a question. Senior scientist Padma Vibhushan Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar said that due to changing technology, many changes will take place, the nature of employment will change, but without being afraid of it, it is necessary to think about the future in our education and for this we have to change our education system.
Raghunath Mashelkar was handed over to Dr. G. B. Deglurkar, a practitioner of elder sculpture. Dr Mashelkar also spoke on the occasion. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, a citation and a memento. On the occasion, 'Shrimant Moreshwar Balwant Purandare Scholarship 2024' was presented to history practitioner (Satara) Pradeep Sanjay Patil. The award comprises a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh, a memento and a certificate. Among those present on the occasion were BJP State Chief and former CM Bhagat Singh Koshyari, area BJP MLA Trivendra singh Rawat, Protem Speaker Harbansh Kapoor and other MLAs.
In a public interview with Raghunath Mashelkar, Dr Mashelkar said, "Education is the future. It is a sign of danger that teachers are not respected in our society today, because they do not progress in a society where the guru does not have a good place. Dr Mashelkar said that this award, which will be given in the name of Babasaheb Purandare, is the best among all the awards that I have received so far.
Dr. G. B. Deglurkar said, "Babasaheb Purandare did the work of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the field and took it to the country and abroad. While studying history, I realized that during the time of Shivaji Maharaj, there was no king like him. Only Shivaraya showed the ability to create the world from nothing. All the supernatural things that happened in his life have happened in different forts. Therefore, the people practicing forts should be more aware and practice forts.
"For a society to progress, either its material things should prosper or it should become morally advanced," Rawat said.
Our society is ancient. But the changed India we see today is due to the enlightenment era that took place in modern India.
The Enlightenment period in India, the rigid religion system, the Constitution of India, is the genesis of the Age of Enlightenment.
The modern face of India is sustained by Shivaji Maharaj.
India is the only country that has fought for freedom for 1000 years in different ways. Many people think that India is the gift of the British. But Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar have also received the same gift.
So how is India doing? Because the people here, the culture here, the society here is a tolerant society.
But the enlightenment that took place in India did not take place in the Indian subcontinent; there will be no peace here.
India's history should be an exercise in how to preserve tolerance.
