Railway Security Tightened: CCTV to Monitor 20 Key Points in Pune

Meanwhile, in view of the possibility of an ambush by terrorists, the security system is on alert mode, while the intelligence agencies have given some important instructions to the railway administration for the safety of the railway tracks. A few days ago, some people had placed a slipper of about 230 kg on the railway track to cause an accident near Kurduwadi station in Solapur division.
Fortunately, the gangman saw this in time and removed the slipper from the track. Otherwise, there could have been a major mishap.
A gas cylinder, a bottle filled with petrol and a flammable substance were kept on the track to cause the accident of Kalindi Express in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has begun its probe into the case.(Pune Railway Security)


In the backdrop of these incidents, the Railway Protection Force recently held a meeting with the Central Intelligence Bureau (IB) and the railway administration has been instructed in this regard.
The railway administration has been informed about the suspected places and cameras will be installed there.
Cameras will also be installed in railway engines. So that related incidents can be prevented in time.
Patrolling will also be intensified in sensitive areas. This was announced by the Railway administration.
