Rajasthan win over RCB ; Meet Hyderabad in Qualifiers.

Rovman Powell smashed a decisive six for Rajasthan, securing a victory over RCB by 4 wickets. RCB's hopes of clinching the IPL title were dashed once again this year. The duo of Ryan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer propelled Rajasthan Royals to a significant win by 4 wickets. This triumph secures Rajasthan's spot in the second qualifier match of IPL 2024, where the winner of Rajasthan Royals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad will advance to the final against KKR.

Despite a valiant effort in the eliminator match, RCB was unable to emerge victorious. Batting first, Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a total of 172 runs, losing 8 wickets in the process. Rajat Patidar contributed 34 runs, Lomror scored 32, and Virat Kohli added 33 runs to the scoreboard. Avesh Khan claimed 3 wickets for Rajasthan, while Ashwin took 2. In response, Rajasthan Royals faced some setbacks but ultimately secured a 4-wicket win.

Ryan Parag and Hetmyer made significant contributions during Green's over, tipping the match in favor of Rajasthan. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Kohler Cadmore provided a strong start for the team. Jaiswal top-scored with 45 runs, followed by Rian Parag with 36 runs and Shimron Hetmyer with 26 runs. After the dismissals of Yashasvi Jaiswal and skipper Samson, Rajasthan Royals faced another setback when Dhruv Jurel was run out for 8 runs.

However, Rian Parag, alongside Shimron Hetmyer, forged a crucial partnership of 45 runs off 25 balls for the 5th wicket, steering the match in Rajasthan's favor.
