The Bhujanj police, in collaboration with the local crime branch, have successfully apprehended four individuals in relation to a murder and an incident of staging an accident. On May 19, a person was injured and found beneath the Surur bridge. The Bhujan police promptly dispatched an ambulance and officers to the scene. Following initial treatment at the district hospital, the injured individuals unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.

A formal report was filed at the Bhujan police station. During the investigation, the Malawar slum, Surur area, and the CCTV footage from Surur village were thoroughly examined. It was discovered that the suspect had transported the injured person on a motorcycle. Further inquiry revealed that the victim had not been injured in an accident but was instead murdered by the suspect Jakkal Ranga Kale and three accomplices from his family.

The team obtained information on the suspects' whereabouts, apprehended three men and one woman, and conducted interrogations.

The suspects confessed to the crime, leading to their arrest. The Superintendent of Police, Upper Superintendent of Police, and Sub-Divisional Police Officers of Y commended the officers and enforcers for their efforts in uncovering this heinous crime committed by the notorious criminals.

Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Sameer Sheikh, Additional Superintendent of Police Anchal Dalal, Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Y Balasaheb Bhalchim, Police Inspector of Local Crime Branch Arun Deokar, Assistant Police Inspector of Bhujanj Police Station Ramesh Garje, Assistant Police Inspector Rohit Farne, and Sub-Inspector of Police Vishal Bhandare actively participated in the operation.
