The Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Bengaluru is launching a special drive in June to crack down on the misuse of government vehicle stickers and logos. It's become trendy for individuals to use labels like Police Government Vehicles, Government of India Service and Government of Karnataka Service, despite not owning government vehicles.

The RTO'S Additional Commissioner (Enforcement), Mallikarjun C emphasised that only specific State or Central government vehicles are allowed to use such labels, excluding Public Sector Undertakings (PSUS).

He also stated that vetecies should only display original mark tungs from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) without additional writing or fitments Official state government vehicles a registered under the G series, and sevilit Kalbies. The KSRTC cannot use government labels.
