Chennai : Popular Tamil actor Rajinikanth has been granted the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 10-year golden visa. The 73-year-old actor received the visa from Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the DCT, Abu Dhabi government, at an event held at the DCT headquarters in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, May 23.
In a video message, Rajinikanth expressed his gratitude for receiving the prestigious UAE Golden visa from the Abu Dhabi government. He thanked the Abu Dhabi government and his friend Mr. Yusuff Ali, CMD of Lulu Group, for their assistance and support. Rajinikanth now joins a list of notable Indian celebrities who have also been granted the UAE golden visa.
The UAE golden visa, established by the UAE government in 2019, allows foreigners to reside, work, and study in the country without the need for a national sponsor and with full ownership of their business on the UAE mainland. These visas, which are issued for 5 or 10 years, are automatically renewed. The visa is available to investors, entrepreneurs, talented individuals, researchers in various fields, exceptional students, and others.
