The state government issued orders on Monday to transfer 28 IPS officers, including several district Superintendents of Police. As per the orders, DCP Ashok Kumar of Macherial will take over as Superintendent of Police in Jagtial from Sunpreet Singh.

Singh has been reassigned as SP in Suryapet, replacing Rahul Hegde B.K., who will now serve as DCP Traffic in Hyderabad City. T. Srinivasa Rao is the new SP of Jogulamba Gadwal, replacing Ritiraj, who has been appointed as Joint Director of the ACB. D. V. Srinivasa Rao will succeed K. Suresh as the SP of Komurambheem Asifabad, while Suresh will become DCP in Balanagar.

Janaki Dharavath will take over from Harshavardhan as SP of Mahabubnagar, with Harshavardhan assuming the role of SP of the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau. K. Narayana Reddy will replace N. Kotireddy as SP of Vikarabad, with Kotireddy moving to the position of DCP in Medchal. Sharat Chandra Pawar, the former SP of the Telangana Anti-Narcotic Bureau, will now serve as SP in Nalgonda, succeeding G. Chandana Deepthi, who will take on the role of SP of Railways, replacing Shaik Saleema.

Saleema will now serve as DCP Central Zone in Warangal. Sadhana Rashmi Perumal has been appointed as DCP North Zone in Hyderabad City, replacing Rohini Priyadarshini, who will now serve as Commandant of the 7th Battalion in Dichpally, succeeding B. Ram Prakash. Officers Ram Prakash, P. Seetaram, M.A. Bari, and L. Subbaryudu have been instructed to report to the DGP Office.

The officers who have been appointed to existing vacancies are Viswajit Kampati as SP of CID, Nitika Pant as Commandant of the 2nd Battalion TGSP in Yapalaguda, Patil Sangramsingh Ganapatrao at the Centre for Good Governance, and P. Sai Chaitanya as SP of the Telangana Anti-Narcotic Bureau.
