The University of Mumbai has initiated the admission process for all academic departments, recognized institutes, affiliated non-autonomous colleges, and postgraduate (Masters) courses in autonomous colleges starting from May 22. Students can register and submit their applications online for various postgraduate courses for the academic year 2024-25 until 6 pm on June 15.

The first merit list is scheduled to be announced on June 26. To complete the admission process, students must visit http://muadmission.samarth.edu.in and follow the online registration and application submission procedures. Complying with the National Education Policy, students are required to register and submit applications online from May 22 to June 15 by 6:00 pm. Subsequently, online document verification by the respective department will take place on June 20 until 6 pm, with the provisional merit list announcement set for June 21 by 6 pm.

Students can lodge complaints until 1 pm on June 25, and the first merit list will be revealed on June 26 at 6 pm. Those admitted in the first list must pay the admission fee online from June 27 to July 1 by 5 pm. Classes will commence from July 1, and the second merit list will be disclosed on July 2 by 6 pm. Students admitted in the second list need to pay the admission fee online from July 3 to July 5 by 5 pm.

Furthermore, the pre-admission online registration process for students interested in pursuing first-year 3 and 4-year degree courses for the academic year 2024-25 at the University of Mumbai will start from May 25. The university will soon announce the detailed schedule for this pre-admission online registration process, which aligns with the guidelines of the National Education Policy, covering 3-year degree courses, 4-year honors/honors with research, and integrated programs with multiple entry and exit options.
