While this recent event is still fresh, another disturbing incident has emerged from the area. In Palaskheda near Jalgaon, a disturbing case has come to light involving a child who fatally stabbed his father. This act has created a sense of fear in the community, leading to the detention of the accused son by the local authorities.
The incident occurred in Palaskheda, located in Jamner taluka. The deceased father, identified as Bajirao Rajaram Pawar, was involved in a heated argument with his son, Sumit Bajirao Pawar (32 years old), over money for alcohol. On Thursday, May 16, around 4:00 pm, the argument turned violent as Sumit, in a fit of rage, fatally stabbed his father with a sharp object.
Despite rushing his injured father to the hospital, it was too late to save him. Subsequently, Sumit surrendered to the police, admitting to the crime. Following the altercation on May 16, Bajirao Pawar and his son Sumit engaged in a dispute over alcohol funds, leading to the son stabbing his father. Villagers assisted in transporting the father's body to Jamner Upazila Hospital, accompanied by the perpetrator.
The hospital staff, including doctors, were taken aback upon learning of the incident. Upon notification from Jamner Police Station, law enforcement officers arrived at the hospital, apprehending Sumit Pawar as the primary suspect. This shocking occurrence has stirred the district, prompting the police to initiate a thorough investigation.
