The Democracy News :- Tomato prices in Pakistan have increased due to the impact of rising inflation. According to The Express Tribune, tomato prices in Pakistan have surged by 200 Pakistani rupees per kilogram just before Eid-ul-Azha. The district government has set a maximum price limit of 100 Pakistani rupees per kilogram.

Despite strict government policies, the cost of tomatoes in Pakistan has doubled. In response to increasing tomato prices, the Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar has implemented a distinct measure. In order to avoid the rise in tomato prices. That is the reason the authorities have implemented Section 144 to shut down the sellers' operations.

Indeed, just one day prior to Eid-ul-Azah, the prices of tomatoes have increased twofold in the local retail markets, as was predicted earlier. Before Eid-ul-Azha, also known as Bakri, the cost of tomatoes has increased in Pakistan.
