Winning the lottery is the dream of every lottery buyer. After winning the lottery, an attempt is made to do your dream or important work. A 24-year-old tea seller from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh won a lottery worth Rs 3.5 lakh. However, a few days later, he committed suicide. Why he committed suicide? What's the case
The tea seller had won a lottery of Rs 3.5 lakh on the online gaming platform. Rs 1.6 lakh was deducted as TDS. On the pretext of getting this amount back, some people contacted the tea seller. On the pretext of getting a refund, the three accused took his documents from the tea seller. However, he later started demanding more money. Unable to bear the harassment, the tea seller ended his life.


Amethi Superintendent of Police Anoop Singh said the FIR was lodged by Rakesh Yadav's mother Shanti Devi after he committed suicide. He has named Anurag Jaiswal, Vishal Singh, Hans Raj Maurya and Toofan Singh in the case. These accused threatened to defame Rakesh Yadav and harassed him from time to time. He demanded Rs one lakh. The accused had threatened him that if he failed to repay the money, he would use his documents to get the loan waived off.

"We are investigating the matter," the police officer said. Action will be taken according to what comes out in the investigation. Rakesh Yadav had won Rs 3.55 lakh in the online gaming lottery. However, Rs 1.6 lakh was deducted as TDS.
Rakesh Yadav was unmarried. His father passed away a couple of years ago. His brother died a few months ago. However, he took the extreme step after being harassed by the locals, the police said.
