The Iranian president, along with the country's foreign minister and other officials, tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash in a foggy, mountainous area in northwestern Iran. The incident occurred as Raisi, aged 63yrs, and his team were in route to Tabriz after a visit to a location near the Azerbaijan-Iran border on Sunday.
